Back to 1941: Visiting Pearl Harbor

While in Hawaii, my friends and I visited Pearl Harbor National Memorial including the USS Arizona Memorial. We watched a video, read the names of those who gave their lives, and listened to the stories. Visiting the location of the December 7, 1941 attack that formally thrust the United States into World War II was very moving and somber. It is a must-do experience for visitors to our 50th state.
